About us
Whilst we’re proud to be a modern and thriving mixed practice, we wouldn’t be where we are today without Mr and Mrs Williams, who set up the practice in the 1900s.
Rumour has it that Mr Williams had to travel by steamboat from Anglesey to Scotland for his veterinary education!
While they initially focused on farm work, the Williams clan knew that their community deserved more, and began to offer small animal work and check cattle in the nearby port for export to Ireland.
The practice stayed in their family for three generations, and by the 1970s Davies, Mathews and Mackney had taken over, before the practice became Milfeddygon Bodrwnsiwn Veterinary group in 1992.
It’s this combination of traditional values and a commitment to evolving with the times that has seen us go from strength to strength in the years since.
We’ve continued to expand and develop by opening more sites, putting together a talented team covering all species and investing heavily in our facilities and equipment, particularly within diagnostic equipment.
As a member of the VetPartners group, we also have the support of respected veterinary professionals across the UK and Europe, who share our commitment to evolving with the industry and delivering a great service.
