Aled Roberts BVMS. MRCVS. OV. Veterinary Surgeon

I am a clinical director with the Bodrwnsiwn Group. I have a particular interest in large and small animal surgery/ orthopaedics.



Rhona Lampard BVMS. MRCVS. OV Veterinary Surgeon

I have worked in general veterinary practice for over 25 years. I am originally from Scotland and a graduate of Glasgow Vet School I moved to Wales to spend a summer climbing and 20 years later I’m still here! I am mainly based at our Bangor surgery working part time. My main interest is in small animal medicine and surgery and horse work, I also enjoy the variety offered in mixed practice. In my spare time I enjoy walking, climbing and horse riding.


John Griffiths B.Vet.Med. MRCVS. LVI. OV Veterinary Surgeon

I am a clinical director with the Bodrwnsiwn Group and I have been with Bodrwnsiwn since I qualified in 2000. My main interest is in farm animal medicine and herd health planning, in particular cattle work.


Clare Norlander CVPM

Practice Manager

I joined Bodrwnsiwn in July 2016 after 10 years working as veterinary pharmaceutial business manager. Outside work I have a few horses and a small flock of BFL sheep. I am also a CHAPS panel judge, hence the photo from Royal Windsor.

Emma Bayman BVSc Cert VA MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon

I graduated from Liverpool University in 1996 and came straight to North Wales. I gained my Certificate in Anaesthesia in 2007. During my time in Caernarfon, I met my husband and moved away with his work in 2010. I then worked in small animal practice in Rutland and subsequently in Somerset and also had two children, before making our way back to Anglesey in 2012. I then joined the team at Bodrwnsiwn on a part time basis. I am based at the Mona surgery, working primarily with small animals. My particular interest lies in emergency and critical care and also anaesthesia.

Outside work I am kept busy looking after my young family and variety of dogs, cats, chickens and horse, not forgetting the goldfish! When I have time I enjoy riding my horse, enjoying Anglesey’s beautiful beaches and baking.


Kayleigh Price Williams MRCVS, BVSc BSc (hons). OV. Veterinary Surgeon

I am originally from Anglesey, I graduated from the University of Liverpool in July 2015, having studied for a degree in Animal Science at the University Of Nottingham 2008-2011 before commencing my veterinary studies. I joined the Bodrwnsiwn group in August 2015 and am enjoying life as a mixed practitioner. In my spare time I enjoy riding my horse Issy, exploring the mountains and canicross running with my dog Gruff.

Veterinary Surgeon/ Head of the Equine Team

I carry out horse work for the practice. My clinical interests include reproduction, dentistry and medicine. I have a certificate qualification in Equine Medicine and am a RCVS listed Advanced Practitioner in that field.


Lucy Rimmington BSc MSc BVSc MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon

I studied veterinary at University of Liverpool between 2012-2016 having previously studied Zoology at University of Nottingham. I joined Bodrwnsiwn shortly after graduating and I am enjoying all areas of mixed practice. I have a strong equine background and worked for over 6 years at a large stud farm in North Wales covering all aspects of breeding and training, including handling stallions and foals as well as general equine management. I have followed my passion for horses during my veterinary studies and was awarded the Barry Edwards Prize for Equine Clinical Studies. My main interests are equine and bovine reproduction, medicine and performance. I still ride regularly, like to travel and love the outdoors.

Rachel James MA Vet MB Cert SAM Cert VC DVC MRCVS

RCVS Recognised Specialist in Veterinary Cardiology

After graduating from Cambridge University in 1999, Rachel worked in small animal general practice for 4 years during which time she gained her certificate in Small Animal Medicine. She then undertook a residency in Veterinary Cardiology at the University of Liverpool, achieving her Certificate and then subsequently her Diploma in Veterinary Cardiology. In 2007 Rachel established the cardio-respiratory referral service at Nantwich Veterinary Hospital. In 2009 Rachel achieved RCVS recognised specialist status in Veterinary Cardiology. Rachel then worked at the University of Nottingham as an Associate Professor in Small Animal Medicine and Rachel is the current supplements editor for the Journal of Small Animal Practice and has previously been the secretary for the European society of veterinary Cardiology. Rachel now works as a freelance cardiologist (James Specialist Veterinary Cardiology) in the northwest where she visits veterinary practices seeing cardiorespiratory referrals. . Rachel presents both at nationally and internationally and has published widely in her field. Rachel’s research interests include syncope in dogs and feline cardiomyopathies. Outside of work Rachel loves all outside pursuits with her family and animals.

Rachel has always been passionate about cardiology and respiratory medicine, scanning hearts since 1999 and presenting her first abstract at BSAVA from general practice back in 2000. She aims to provide an experienced, personal and friendly service with 24 hour back up as needed whenever possible. Rachel has already been looking at cardiac cases for us and is making a big impact on managing these difficult cases.

I am based at our Mona surgery and have worked for the Bodrwnsiwn group since 1994. In my spare time I enjoy walking, cycling and caring for my horses.


Ceri Williams

Veterinary Receptionist

I have worked at Bodrwnsiwn since April 2013 as a veterinary receptionist/Farm visits coordinator. I am based in our Mona surgery, but I can be found covering other surgeries at times. My interests are helping on my parents farm, cats and horses.

Accounts Manager

I am based at our Mona and have worked for the Bodrwnsiwn group since 2003. My hobbies include knitting, baking and gardening.



Nia James

Veterinary receptionist/ TB Testing administrator**

I have been working for Bodrwnsiwn for the last 10 years , I’m based at our Mona surgery and am responsible for coordinating the TB tests. I can also be seen on reception at busy times and I’m Bodrwnsiwn’s chief party planner.

When I’m not in work I enjoy spending time with my young family and our 2 spaniels, eating out and taking my daughter horse riding.

Ruth Dalley BSc

I joined the Bodrwnsiwn group in Jan 2011 as holiday cover. I am now based in our Menai Bridge surgery. I live on sheep and cattle farm with 5 dogs, I like agriculture, motorbikes, photography, Morris dancing and kayaking. I also have a BSc in Zoology.

I started working for the Bodrwnsiwn group in 1987, I am based at our Menai Bridge surgery. I have a special interest in animal nutrition, outside of work I enjoy walking, horse riding and reading.
